As a qualified Chartered Accountant with considerable commercial experience in industry and with major institutions in the City of London, I have retired from full-time employment and established Merpen Accounting to assist local businesses with all their accounting and taxation needs.

Small Businesses & Sole Proprietors
While no job is too small, I am, in particular, of assistance to small businesses and sole proprietors when setting up and establishing their businesses. By allowing me to take on the responsibility of managing their accounting needs, it leaves the small business owner free to devote his or her time to developing their product or services. I am also of assistance to established businesses who are coping with problems associated with growth and may need help to make the transition to becoming a larger business.

I offer a 'hands on' practical accountancy service to money-making hobbyists, start-up companies and small businesses at affordable low fees. I am able to meet you at a time and place that is most convenient for you including at your home, or in the evenings. As I am located in the Pewsey area and have a local business base throughout Wiltshire and Hampshire, I am available to help on very short notice in areas such as:

• setting up and maintaining books of account
• VAT and tax returns
• creating management and annual financial accounts
• creating cash flow forecasts

My goal is to help you make the best of your business. My fees are probably the lowest around, and my service excellent! This is an ideal combination for small business owners to help you expand. Initial consultations to determine your accounting requirements are totally free of charge and further work is arranged at a fee you can afford.
