Pewsey Area Community Trust (PACT)
The trust has been organised to act as the local focus for improvements to the Pewsey Community Area. As a stand-alone body, run by Pewsey residents for Pewsey people, the Trust is supported by the County, District and Parish Councils as a way of channelling resources into live projects on the ground.
The main objective of the group is to create a:
"Working countryside and a living countryside"

Objectives of the Company
1. to provide a community-based organisation working for the sustainable regeneration of the Pewsey Area through a mixture of economic environmental social and cultural initiatives
2. to foster the development of private and community enterprises in and around the Area of Benefit (see below)
3. to carry out community capacity - building work within the Area of Benefit, in partnership with local authorities or other organisations and institutions
4. to preserve, protect, improve and enhance in any way the amenities, public or otherwise, in the Area of Benefit - for the benefit of the population in the Area of Benefit and beyond
5. to foster partnership working within the Area of Benefit and beyond, in order to improve the local economy, local education, health, employment opportunities, and for any other purpose that will benefit the population in the Area of Benefit
6. to provide or assist in the provision of: information services; careers advice, guidance and counselling; education and training - to improve the employability of the population in the Area of Benefit and beyond
7. to further any other purpose or purposes, for the benefit of the population in the Area of Benefit
